Will Backer is an award-winning director working in feature film, commercials, documentaries, and short form/episodic projects.  His work is informed by his diverse technical background, particularly in areas of sound and digital cinema technologies.  Will has done work for companies like Electronic Arts, Qualcomm, Pandemic Studios, and Sanrio (makers of “Hello Kitty”), and made independent films in a variety of genres.  He is the founder of Unlicensed Media, a Los Angeles-based film production company, and co-founder of Independent Soundworks, an audio post-production boutique also based in the L.A. area.
